Douglas Marlow, PhD is a clinical psychologist licensed in the state of Oregon. Dr. Marlow was born and raised in the Northwest, attended college and graduate school in California (Fuller Theological Seminary), and served as an active duty psychologist in the United States Navy. He has worked in the United States and overseas in inpatient and outpatient mental health, worked as a performance enhancement specialist for the U. S. Naval Academy intercollegiate sailing and hockey teams, and taught leadership and psychology at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

He started Psychological Solutions and Advanced Advising to provide consulting psychological services to the Eastern Oregon and Portland communities of individuals, couples, families, and businesses. His diverse experiences in the U.S. Navy and his academic and cross-cultural experiences ideally equip him for a rural and urban practice. He thrives on helping motivated individuals find their strengths as they overcome their difficult experiences and life challenges. His goal is to create ways to help others to unleash their potential to achieve their dreams. To further those ends, he has also been actively involved in assisting all Oregonians access quality psychological services through his work with the Oregon Psychological Association Board where he currently serves as immediate Past President. He is also a member of the American Psychological Association and a member of the Association for Contextual Behavior Science.
