About Dr. Marlow

Douglas Marlow, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Oregon. He is a member the Oregon Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association.

Dr. Marlow was born and raised in the Northwest, attended college and graduate school in California, and served as an active duty psychologist in the United States Navy. He has worked in the United States and overseas in inpatient and outpatient mental health, worked as a performance enhancement specialist for the Naval Academy intercollegiate sailing and hockey teams, and taught leadership and psychology at the United States Naval Academy, in Annapolis, Maryland.

Dr. Marlow returned to the Northwest in 2002 and practices in Hermiston, Oregon. His diverse caseload covers all ages of individuals, couples, families, and groups. He specializes in enhancing emotional intelligence and strength within personal, academic, and professional relationships. He enjoys the challenges of angry, depressed, and anxious children, who frequently also have attention deficit disorder symptoms, and problems with authority figures. He also enjoys working with couples who have communication difficulties, trust issues or who seem to be leading parallel lives. He thrives on helping motivated individuals put their difficult experiences from childhood and life behind them and helping them create ways to unleash their potential to achieve their dreams.
